The Teton True Cut Portable Saw Guide and Milling System was developed to provide highly portable custom machines. These machines produce accurate repeatable straight-line cuts, radial and elliptical cuts, or milled surfaces for log and timber builders. This dynamic system utilizes modular aluminum linear rails with smooth precise movement along the X, Y, and Z axis. Movement is facilitated by custom high-load roller bearing guides joined at 90 degrees or joined with a turntable between for radial motion. Depending on the cut or surface desired this modular rail system can be assembled in a wide variety of configurations to hold and guide the cutting tools. Cutters used to date have been wood cutting chain saws, diamond chain rock saws, as well as routers and circular saws. The adaptability of these saw guide systems has enabled Teton True Cut Inc. to meet the wide variety of cuts required in custom log home construction. These tools have been successfully used for rough openings, rabbets for trim, mortises, tenons, flat wall, frame-wall log-wall connections, let-ins for floor systems, log siding, electrical outlet cuts, arches, and many more.
